What it does

ProdMakers is a community for people who believe AI has changed who gets to build. We share how to take an idea from a sentence to a working product, fast, with AI as your team.

What AI did

Claude Code did most of the making: logo ideas, the design system and a review of it, banners and WhatsApp group icons, and the site redesign. It also wrote the Showcase code (Cloudflare Worker, D1 database, KV for images, admin review, English/Arabic text) and deployed it through the Cloudflare connector.

What the maker did

I made the product calls. The biggest one was not turning the site into a full community platform. Chat stays on WhatsApp, live sessions stay on Brainsmingle, and the site only does what chat can’t: a permanent, public, shareable home for members’ products. I also wrote the content model based on our hand-made showcase deck, chose the logo, and pushed back on banner drafts that felt empty.

Biggest lesson

“Building is no longer the slow part. AI could have built the whole community platform just as fast. The real work was saying no to it, as each additional feature comes with a commitment.”
